In 1998 after gaining experience working at an established travel agency in Campbell, CA, I was ready to open my own business.  By then I had established good working relationships with the cruise lines and travel industry in general.  Over the past 20+ years I have traveled to many destinations, and I continue my education to remain current in the travel field.

Some of my favorite places are Europe, Fiji, Hawaii, Mexico, Costa Rica, Equador, Belize, and Alaska.  I am a Destination Specialist,  and continue to add more destinations to my list.      I have sailed to many ports on almost every cruise line, and have earned my "Accredited Cruise Counselor" designation.  I have earned my "Mickey Mouse Ears" by graduating the Disney College of Knowledge courses and onsite training.  I have booked Destination Weddings and have planned Honeymoons around the world.  I am a specialist in Student travel, and have booked Washington D.C. trips as well as international groups for the past 10 years. 

"What does a Travel Agent do?"    A good Travel Agent or Travel Advisor evaluates many factors when planning a vacation for their client. 

When a person says they want to go on a cruise, I don't just randomly choose a cruise line and give a quote.  I'll qualify" the person.  "Have you sailed before?"  "What types of vacations have you taken in the past?"  "How much time would you like to be on the ship?"  Do you want more days at sea, or would you like a cruise that sails to several ports is a relatively short amount of time?

When a person says they want to go to Hawaii.......Have they been there before?   Do they realize that each island is very different from the other?  "What type of get away are they looking for......  Relaxation  or Local activities?  Cultural experiences?  How much time do they have for their  vacation?  Knowledge about each island is essential to plan the best vacation for someone. 

When planning a destination vacation, the right accomodations must be chosen.  Does a person like the "All Inclusive" style which is a good value, or do they like to explore restaurants and entertainment on their own?  Do they like guided vacations, sometimes called "escorted" tours?

These types of questions will be considered whatever type of vacation you want.  I realize that vacation time is precious, and I "build" each trip as if I were going along with you.   I enjoy planning vacations and am very excited when someone calls.  I hope you will trust me to plan your next vacation filled with happy memories.
