Day 1 | Nairobi/Amboseli National Park | On arrival at JKIA, you are met by a Nature Expeditions representative and drive to Amboseli National Park, located to the southeast of Nairobi. The Park is famous for its big game and scenic beauty with the landscape dominated by Mt. Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon nature walk until sunset. Day 2 | Amboseli National Park | Spend a further day in the park on morning and afternoon game-viewing drives. Visitors mainly come to watch the huge herds of elephants. The bull elephants have some of the largest tusks in all of Kenya. Kibo Safari Camp [Full Board] |
Day 3 | Crescent Island | After breakfast check out and drive to Lake Naivasha. Have Lunch at the lodge and later visit Crescent Island. Take a boat ride to Crescent Island and enjoy a nature walk on Crescent Island, a crescent-shaped peninsula Naivasha Kongoni Lodge [Full Board] |
Day 4 | Lake Nakuru National Park | After breakfast check out and proceed to Lake Nakuru. Lunch is followed by an afternoon game drive with the notable game within the lake including hippos and clawless otters. Naivasha Kongoni Lodge [Full Board] |
Day 5 | Maasai Mara Game Reserve | Clients will check out after breakfast and drive to Masai Mara. Arrive and check in at the camp in time for lunch. Depart later for a guided nature walk and later have a bush dinner. Zebra Plains Mara Camp [Full Board] |
Day 6 | Maasai Mara Game Reserve | Spend a further two days of game-watching with morning and afternoon game drives and other activities in the Mara including ballooning (extra cost). Wildlife is abundant in the Mara Reserve with the gentle grasslands ensuring that animals are never out of sight. Birds are prolific including immigrants. The big cats - lion, leopard, and cheetah - follow the wildebeest, essentially their main source of food, into the Mara River. Zebra Plains Mara Camp [Full Board] |
